Computer Aided Design is abbreviated to CAD. Computer in electric powerengineering is earliest applied to CAD, it is also more important. CAD technology forelectric power system is more behindhand compared with mechanism, architectureand so on. CAD technology for power supply and distribution system is mostbehindhand and it rests on primary phase of only plotting or settling some calculationproblems up to the present. Nowadays, in the many domestic and overseas businesssoftwares, plotting is main and it lacks for routine analysis calculation and networktopology in the power supply and distribution system.In the paper, On the basis of analyzing the present situation and developmenttrend of existing CAD technology for power supply and distribution system, regardingthe features of secondary system for substation and power distribution station whichare complicated model, many equipments and so on, the object-oriented graphicintelligent design ideas, methods and technology solving schemes for secondarysystem of substation and power distribution station is put forward. On the basis ofintelligent modeling, it is made of six function modules which are data inputting,graph inputting, secondary scheme design, protective relaying setting calculation,secondary equipment selection and graph making out. Data inputting and graphinputting module respectively achieve data inputting of first system and electric firstwiring diagram inputting; secondary scheme design module realizes scheme design ofsecondary loops including control, protection, signal, measure, automotive equipment,operation electrical source and electrical source for substation and power distributionstation, using rule-cased reasoning of expert system; protective relaying settingcalculation module realizes setting calculation for first equipments which aretransformers, circuitries, capacitors, and electromotors; secondary equipmentselection module realizes type selection of secondary microcomputer integratedequipments; graph making out module realizes secondary drawings making outautomatically representing design production using case-cased reasoning of expertsystem and the drawings can be edited and modified under the secondary developedAutoCAD environment.The program is developed with Visual Basic of visualizing programminglanguage and AutoCAD.
