The healthy development of the national economy not only related to the stability of thepower system running, but also represents the level of the country’s industry. Extra highvoltage substation power system as an important part of power system, his running state hasan important impact on the security stability of the entire grid. High voltage primaryequipment is protected and monitored by secondary devices in substation, but the operationstate of the secondary equipment is lack of effective monitoring and protect. At present,secondary equipment maintenance mode usually based on the periodic inspections of time andinspect in major festivals way, this way has high maintenance costs and the poor maintenanceof security. Due to the Maintenance personnel lack effective means, so, it is hard to monitorthe running of secondary equipment in time, to take measures to the equipment problems thatmay arise in advance. For this situation, to develop a system that can real-time reflect theoperating status of the secondary equipment and the situation of remaining useful life havegreat significance.This thesis based on the operating characteristics of that extra high voltage substationsecondary equipments and the current problems of maintenance work which is carried outin-depth research and analysis, it also designed a intelligent expert system of750kVsubstation secondary equipment. It is determined by one overall structure and implementationof the system and studying the structure of substation automation system and the transmissionmode of information, This thesis studied the secondary equipment condition assessment andlife prediction by adopting status assessment model based on fuzzy comprehensive supportvector machine (FC-SVM) and life prediction method of of secondary equipment based onthe Weibull model. With two algorithms as the core to build expert system monitoringpersonnel provide secondary device status information in real-time. According to the demandsof substation secondary equipments overhaul work in the state assessment and life predictionand technical indicators required. The method of state assessment and life prediction arestudied and designed in detail.Design a750kV substation secondary equipment intelligent assessment expert system forthe problem that substation monitoring duty can not insure the state of secondary equipments.Six main functions is achieved by this expert system, including rights management,knowledge base on maintenance and condition assessment.The condition is the key ofmaintenance management, basic data management and data query. On the basis of that onlineinformation and offline information of the secondary equipment has been obtained by theintegrated automation system, a secondary device status and life prediction models for thecore design of the expert system knowledge base, using the production approach and framework for knowledge representation Knowledge representation method, using arule-based inference mechanism completed design inference engine. This system is developedby Linux operating system software on the DELL Power on the Edge workstation, using C++for program development,it is based on the Oracle Solaris10database. All the functions of thesystem are realized by the friendly man-machine interface, the system is tested by the fieldoperation. The test results show that, this system can implement the functions andperformance design.
