The thesis has mainly researched on such aspects: 1. Combines an uniform systemized computer algorithms with the reformed the conventional method of operating curve for finite system, and form a new fault network analysis approach. 2. Proposes a new graphic topology analytical method for building electric network model, which simplifies wiring analysis, raises the execution efficiencies of software, and improves interface environment. 3. Studies and builds an expert system for protective relay setting. The implementing method of the system also has been described in the thesis. The system has been applied in practical engineering.
