Abstract/Summary:
The outer space is becoming more and more valuable in military operations. After the phases of research experiments and strategic applications, the process of space militarization has stepped into the epoch of counterspace operations, centering on tactic applications. The Space Operations Vehicle, featured of reusability, high sortie rates and maneuverability, is capable of a lot of counterspace missions such as space transportation, reconnaissance and surveillance and strike on ground assets. It is obvious that SOVs will play an important part in the future space operations. To obtain the information priority is the key point of modern wars. Therefore, the operations of SOVs are highly depended on timely and precise information. This thesis is mainly about how to support the combat missions of SOVs with the TT&C information. After an analysis of the importance and necessity of the information, firstly, the theoretical bases of the TT&C operation on space vehicles are introduced and the TT&C resource model and the access model are found. Then, considering the characteristics of counterspace operations and the needs of SOVs on combat, a scheme to construct the ground mobile station is presented and a priority based strategy of how to distribute the limited resources to multi-spacecrafts is discussed. With the development of TT&C technologies, the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System is likely to be established in the near future. Therefore, this thesis has simulated the access processs between two GEO satellites and the LEO SOVs. Based on the above models, a time-restricted model of information is discussed. It has abstracted all the combat information into three groups—command, telemetry and data. Meanwhile, The TT&C plan of SOVs are simulated. Finally, the simulation program is developed and the future work is mentioned.
