Infrared imaging guided weapons become the representives of precision-guided weapons and embody the high technology war. The naval warships will be threatened by the infrared imaging guided anti-ship missiles increasingly severely in the future sea battle, therefore, how to weaken the power of enemy's infrared imaging guided missiles is the most important thing. The laser weapons have many unique characters, such as short response time, high hit target precision etc. and become the ideal weapons to countermine the IR imaging guided weapons.This paper investigates the theories and experiments on disturbance effiency of IR imagining guidance technology. The destination is to restrain the power of enemy's IR imaging guided weapons and exert our weapons'might fully. The effective disturbance of laser to imagining track system is validated by two experiments .One is laser irradiates CCD detectors and the other is laser disturbs CCD imaging track evaluation system. The energy of laser disturbing IR imagining guided system effectively is estimated. The guidance error sources are analyzed and the hitting probabilities are calculated before the disturbance and after it by utilizing the formula about single missile shot percentage. The experiments and calculation results prove that the laser weapons can disturb the IR imagining guided system and make the hitting probability decline greatly. Finally, the math model of ballistic trajectory is established according to the basic way to evaluate the disturbance effiency. The emulational results reveal the disturbance effect and the change of miss distance.
