The quantities of scrap tires increase quickly with the growing amount of cars and became a new environmental pollution source. Utilizing recycled tire rubber powder in cement concrete is a new challenge in recycling of waste, which have important beneficial for clean recycling of scrap tires, saving resource and improving properties of cement concrete.The effect on mechanical property of cement mortar and cement concrete were investigated respectively when additive composition of scrap tire powder replaces part of sand; surface treatments technology &methods of powdered tire rubber are carried out to improve the compatibility of rubber powder and cement matrix; The optimizing effect of super-plasticizer and polymer latex on rubber powder concrete are researched in order to improve the integrated properties of rubber powder modified cement-based materials. and microstructure, fracture pattern and hydrate products of rubber powder cement matrix are analyzed through Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), the macro fracture pattern and pore structure of rubber powder modified cement concrete are also analyzed at same time.The results show that, the impacting strength is improved obviously , force damage is retarded and the elasticity modulus is decreased due to incorporation of rubber powder; there are more obviously optimize effect on impacting strength and anti-crack property of cement concrete when the rubber powder is modified. Both the density of cement concrete and the flowability of concrete mixture are decreased obviously with incorporation of rubber powder. the decrease in strength was dependent on the content of rubber powder, especially the compressive strength decreased significantly. The passive effect of rubber powder on strength of concrete can decrease greatly after incorporating polycarboxylic acid type water- reducer and modifying rubber powder.The effect trend of rubber powder on strength of cement mortar is as similar as cement concrete does, the more rubber powder used, the lower strength of cement mortar, the reduction of compressive strength is greater than for the flexural strength. and the setting time for cement mortar also lengthen; The replacement of sand by...
