Study On The Method Of Process Flow Generation On Flexible CAPP System

With the development of manufacturing enterprise'informationalization and progress in production mode, Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) system should generate alternative process routing which is applicable to the current workshop ability for production. It makes the imcompatible problem solved easily that the conventional Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) can only generate one process and don't adapt the product schedule. So it makes Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) system play a very important role in integrative environment of manufacturing enterprise.An idiographic method is put forward to realize the automatic creation of alternative manufacturing processes in flexible Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP). First, the shaft is taken as the main object to research the technique of features coding in this paper. It analyzes the types of the features contained in the part and sets a coding rule for them. Then it is described in detail that how to upbuild repository based on production rule in order to administer and maintain it more conveniently. For the sake of avoiding the resultant explosion during the course of process generation caused by considering too much factors, the idea is raised that it is feasible to regard workshop resource attribute as two parts—the static and the dynamic which are considered at different step . In the paper an improved Activity On Vertex(AOV) net is proposed to represent the alternative manufacturing processes route .It also raises a new overall topological sort algorithm. At last, based on the researching achievement above, an alternative Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) system is developed based on C/S structure, tested by the system, the researches above are validated.
