In recent decades, earthquake disaster frequently occurred all over the world. And bridges are lifeline engineering, once destroyed, it will bring great damage to the lives and properties of people. Because PC continuous beam bridge is one of the most extensive bridges, it is necessary to make an in-depth study and analysis to the seismic performance of these bridges, which is an important factor for safety. In this thesis, taking Tuoketuo-Zhungeer Yellow river especially long span bridge as an example, based on the basic theory of the seismic response analysis, two methods including spectrum response analysis and time-history analysis of earthquake are applied to a PC continuous beam bridge of one unit with 12 spans. The main content in this thesis includes:â‘ Establish 3-dimensional finite element models and calculate the self-vibration characteristic of the bridge;â‘¡Research into the influence of the pile-soil-structure interaction to the seismic response of the bridge based on the characteristic of the site soil of the bridge;â‘¢Study the influence of the friction force of sliding bearings to the seismic response of the bridge;â‘£Calculate the seismic response of the bridge with travelling wave effect by inputing different velocities of seismic wave, compare with the results under the coincident earthquake excitation, and study the influence of travelling wave effect to the seismic response of the bridge. The main conclusions drawn from above include:Firstly, the pile-soil-structure interaction decreases the internal force of the abutment pier and increases the displacement. Secondary, the friction force of sliding bearings decreases the longitudinal seismic effect of the bridge but has not noticeable influence on the lateral seismic effect. Finally, travelling wave effect decreases the longitudinal seismic effect of the abutment pier and increases that of the other pier, but it is not noticeable influence on the lateral seismic effect. It is expected to give some references for practical seismic design of similar bridges.
