It is necessary to monitor and analyze the power quality firstly in order to solve the power quality problems in power system, so the status of the power quality should be accuratly evaluated and the deteriorative cause can be found out timely, then the possible reforming project can be put forward for related department to take effective measure to isolation or depress the harm of the power quality deterioration.Traditional power parameters monitoring system mainly based on hardware is bulky and crude, so it is unsuitable gradually for complicated, real time and multiparameter test. In recent years, the develop of communication technology, computer technology and measuring technique impulse virtual instrument technical progressive development, virtual instrument possess perfect software function, simple hardware configuration as well as high intelligention etc.So this paper put toward and design the power quality parameters monitoring system based the newest technology of the field of measurement and control now-the virtual instrument technical, it can monitor electric power parameter including voltage, electrical current, phase, frequency, three-phase voltage unbalance, harmonic and the voltage fluctuation and flicker, and can also provide the detailed power quality monitoring analysis and results in real time. Moreover, the power quality parameters monitoring system mainly based on virtual instrument is better traditional monitoring system, which function is crude and update is complicate.Firstly, the shortcoming of traditional power parameters monitoring system and the necessity of monitoring to power parameters are outlined in this paper, besides the paper analyze the feasibility for using the virual instrument to develop the power quality monitoring system.Subsequently my paper mainly study the algorithm of monitoring voltage deviation, frequency deviation, the voltage fluctuation and flicker, harmonics and three-phase voltage unbalance, and dispose diScretizatly the algorithm ofthem at the time. Then, integrated design is ascertained, besides this paper put emphases on the development of the functional module of power parameters monitoring system using Lab VIEW.this paper improve zero cross detection using interpolation in frequentcy measurement module, so this way can increase the precision of it. In flick measurement module, his paper use three theorem , which professor Lin Haixue put forward, to simplify flicker measure diagram which IEC recommend, it uses virtual instrument technology to realize real-time inspection of flicker with few hardwares.Finally, the concluding remark summaries the deficiencies and the improvement of the system, and outlook the further research too.
