Study On Usage And Applicable Expansion-rebuilding Of Xian Polyclinics

Medical architecture is now the most complicated and architecture in civil architecture. From the year 1980, there are lots of polyclinics which are in rapid development and changes. And under nowadays our country's economic condition, rebuilding and expanding become the most important construction method of most polyclinics.This thesis first describes the history of polyclinic and the design theory of new modern polyclinic, and this section pays more attention to the form of the polyclinic's overall layout. Then from macroscopic vision, the author compared most polyclinics in Xian, especially from the clinic, technologic and in-patient department, in two aspects---space and human behavior in the polyclinic. From this, he analyzed the elements which restrict the modern polyclinic in social, economic and technologic aspect. The author studied the examples in different countries, then chose two of them to conclude the theories in the polyclinic design.In this thesis, the author hopes to get some conclusion for the rebuilding and expansion of the polyclinics. From these conclusions, we can get some improvements for the design and studying of the polyclinic, and promote the development of modern polyclinic in our country.
