| Presently, regarding the design of storm sewer, many designed departments still adopt the method of consulting the chart for hydraulic calculation, this computational method depends on experience, low precision , time-consuming, and unfavourably optimizating the design. Moreover, in the side of drawing, the most use the CAD software order operation, which make the calculation result express in drawing, and make specialized engineer to complain constantly. The reason of traditional method does a thankless job, that has divided into two independent work , calculation and drawing, the outcome of calculating is numeral, but the achievement of designing is drawing, obviously it cause the design work to detour.Along with the application of the computer assistance technology in each specialized domain, the traditional method will be eliminated inevitably. In order to simplify the task of designing storm sewer, and realizating the integration of calculation and drawing, I have done the thorough research to the computer assistance technology, and develop the embryonic form of the programme for designing storm sewer, it adopts the LISP program language and the DCL dialog box program language.This topic has fully utilized the calculation and drawing of the LISP program language, and the dialog function of the DCL program language. All programme runing based on CAD platform.
