The Research On The Design Technique Of RF Spectrum Analyzer

In the fields such as modern communication , broadcast and television , scientific research and production exploitation, the test of frequency domain has already become the essential means to solve problems. Spectral analyzer is the basic tool to realize the fuction.In this paper,the basic principle of the spectral analyzer is introduced, and a new kind of the design method to compose the RF (Radio Frequency) spectral analyzer is discussed.In this method ,superheterodyne scheme is adopt, multiple RF interdigital is scand in the filter technology. The problem of low cost to high-performance is solved . The scheme of spectral analyzer and each module are designed, including all-band digital sweep PLL (Phase Locked Loop) local oscillator, RF module integrated technology, IF (Intermediate Frequency) bandwidth treatment,digital detector,diagram of software,EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) etc. The errors source of the spectral analyzer are compensated.The result showed that the analyzer has wide input frequency range,narrow RBW (Resolution Bandwidth) and high scanning accuracy,and it reaches the international advanced level.
