The energy structure of our country relies mainly on coal, and centers on the electric power, so it is necessary to improve coal utilization efficiency and cleanness, and to put forward the large-scale, high-efficiency technology of generating electricity by clean coal. The high-efficient super-critical units will become the main member of coal-fired electric power plant in the future. This paper first makes a theoretical analysis of the stress field of steam/water separator, an important pressure-bearing part in SCB, and then further studies the mechanism of the fatigue-creep damage in the course of operating. Using the method for high-temperature creep-fatigue damage analysis and life prediction based on elastic analysis, the paper makes a numerical simulation calculation for the start state of No.l boiler's steam/water separator of a power plant, and works out a life online monitoring and management system software according to the result of the calculation. The thick-wall pressure-bearing part fundamental research and the newest computer network technology in the power plant control operating are referenced in the writing of the software which is characterized by its accuracy, real-time, and intellectualization etc.
