The problem of fatigue and creep life of plant's pressure-containing is the key point of safe operation. The life anticipation and management of boilers is a complex job, which is because of both the accuracy of evalution and convenient examining and monitoring method in operation. This paper focuses on the damage mechanics method which is newly rising. Through the finite element analysis towards steam separator, the related parameters can be deduced to evalute the object's life with multi-spindle and nonlinear damage mechnics. Much attention has been put on comparison with classic fatigue and creep life evalution from different aspects and angles, as well as the more accurate and reliable method of fatigue and creep life evalution. At last, this article has writeen the software of life online monitoring and system management, which consider the online monitoring system's accracy, real-time and intelligence.
