An Integrated Analysis Of The Characteristic Landscape Of The Mountain Area City

Our country is a large size, complex in topography and land form, with manyhills, basins, plateaus and alpine mountains. The area of hilly region occupies twothird of the total terrestrial area, most cities are closed related to the mountain area. upto the end of 2004, there are 666 organic cities, among them mountain area citiesoccupy 30 percent. The mountain area cities are very different from plain cities intopography, ecotope, city morphology, road and building morphology. Because thereare special natural resource and attractive natural ecological landscape system, themountain area cities posses a distinct individual character in landscape feature andcity trait.There are many mountain area cities do not give scope to self superiority indevelopment and construction, the general phenomenon's are that they use landstructure unreasonable, do not coordinate with natural environment, worsen theecotope, at last ,cause the maximum destruction in cities natural ecotype, and so, howto combine the character of the mountain area and hill with using the naturallandscape and to create mountain area city landscape with each one having its ownparticular character in sustainable development and fostering the noble character ofthe city are very important.In this paper, combine with the theory and method of the planning,ecology,geography, etc, and study the basically characters of the hill landscapes and mountainarea cities, system analyses the structure elements of the characteristic landscape inconstructing mountain city landscape, explain the internal relation, establish the coresystem of the landscape plan of the mountain area city, and propose a planningprinciple and method respectively. At last, I use landscape plan and improving reformof Huaxi region, Guiyang for practice and seek the method of landscape constructionand characteristic make of the mountain area city.In this paper, We use the theory analysis of the characteristic landscape plan ofthe mountain area city for a basis and carry out a evaluating in primary investigatingof the improving reform and landscape contraction of Huaxi region, Guiyang andmore, how to improve the landscape feature in future, I propose my idea, and hopethat this idea may have some benefit in the city construction and ecotope protection ofHuaxi.
