The application of geotextile is late in China, but it gets fast development. Thereare a great deal applications in the field of water conservancy, water and electricity,railway, highway, harbor, construction, etc. There is not a study about integratedevaluation by the performances of geotextile to date. The geotextile that was appliedfor The Luanhe-Tianjin Water Diversion Project mainly played a part in filtrationsince 1985. After ten years, there is not research about application effect.We will select representative project in The Luanhe-Tianjin Water DiversionProject to analyze and find out the application effect. Through comparing the resultcurrently tested of geotextile with leaving factory to realize the change. We set upevaluating model by using the method of systemic integrated estimate. We quantifythe capability of the used geotextile by the creating software of systemic integratedestimate.We gained the conclusion through analyzing as follows:After ten years, the mechanics performance and filtering coefficient had a littledecline, but the geotextile could keep the soil well, so it also meet the demands of theproject.The evaluating model can quantify the capability of the geotextile. It not onlyhelps the designer to choose product but also instructs the application andmanagement of the geotextile.
