Consigned the task by the Jiangxi some press machine factory, the paper carry on strength analysis to the lever spare parts.The paper analyzed and compared common CAD software, and selected the Unigraphics software as the design software of the task.The paper used CAD module to build up numerical parameter model of the lever part and used CAE/STRUCTURES to carry on the static analysis of the lever part. The analysis found that original design did not meet the requirement of the strength.The paper put forward a new design. The paper selected design variable, design objective and design restriction and used optimization module to acquire a new design. It not only meets the requirement of the strength, but also uses the material fully and avoids the waste.According to the new design, the part don't occur rupture again in practice. Due to a large number of the part, the design will improve its benefit of economic and society.
