Embedded meter with multi communication interfaces is a product that is developed in order to coordinate with HySpeed HT4400 system of Messer Cutting & Welding Co. Ltd. (Kunshan). With the progress of science and technology, industrial meter could achieve more complex and powerful functions. Industrial activities in practical application demand that meter could support data transmission using multi communication interfaces. The management of meter's functions and data communication needs the support of embedded system.The thesis refers to domestic and overseas technical resources about μC/OS-Ⅱ realtime operation system core. It designs and implements a kind of embedded meter based on S3C44B0X processor, which has ethernet interface using 10Base-T and USB interface which conforms to USB 1.1 Specification. It also supports Modbus protocol applied in the RS485 network. The research of this thesis places emphasis on several parts as below: (1) meter's entire hardware design (2) μC/OS-Ⅱ port for the S3C44B0X processor, (3)the use of Modbus protocol and its custom command by user, the development of USBN9603 chip's firmware and PC program on USB host, the implementation of LwIP to be transplanted on embedded system μC/OS-Ⅱ.At the end of the thesis, it makes summary and conceives of meter's prospect about its application. Meter's embedded software code about multi communication interfaces could be applied to relative industries after a slight modification.
