Time-of-Use (TOU) electricity pricing is an important means for electricity demandside management (DSM). It can stimulate and encourage consumers to change theirconsuming-behavior and using-electricity way in order to shift peak load and fill valleyload and change consumer response curve. In view of the using effectiveness in powermarkets, this paper studies consumers' different demanding-reactions in different prices.Meanwhile, taking the theory of price-demand flexibility in microeconomics as atheoretic tool and then thinking of price linkage between the generation side anddistribution side,this paper also helps electric power companies to construct a bettermodel in TOU price of distribution side. Finally,computation and analysis of sometypical examples based on MATLAB software shows that the proposed method isreliable.
