People began turn to think the damage in the natural balance brought by the industry technology when the appearances had taken place such as the energy crisis, ecosystem-breaking, pollution of the environment, green house effect, etc. Obviously, the globalism turn to replace the regionally culture and the lack of high touch in high tech that make people perplexed and unconformable. Therefore in high technique society, people have a common understanding that people not only live in the natural eco-space, but also live in the 'emo-space ',(emotional space). people are inevitable to pursue the balance of high-tech and high-touch ,or the banlance of humanism and rationalism. The more technique progresses , the more intensive the desirability of the balance will be.""hi –touch balance hi-tech"bring us a opportunity to think about the normal regularity of the relationship of emotion and technique. The emotion connected with the human need. There are different levels in Emotion which like the different ranks of the human needs. Logically,low touch means the emotion in the natural space and that High touch means the emotion in the hi-tech space, which between them is mid touch. Social condition can decide the emotion level and its development. In a period of time, from the agriculture society to the information age, the emotion just develop from low-touch to hi -touch. Therefore, the balance of emotion and technique means using emotion to balance the lack of the emotion which made by the technique. As we know, the building that also living in the emotional space is not only constructed by technique but expressed emotion of people, So the relationship of emotion and tech is also existing in the realm of architecture. We can use the point of "the balance of touch and tech "as a manner to analyze the architectural phenomenon in essence ,and make it to be an important methodology of architecture design today.
