Abstract/Summary:
This paper analyzes the composition of the systematic structure of the bridge design software "Bridge Master". On the basis of the achievement of Research and development group, the paper develops four modules to expand the function of the software. It includes fore-treatment model, project core database module, intensity and stress checking computations module and transverse distribution module of abnormal bridges.This paper introduces the project core database and the graphics support system in detail. It uses the relevant database named ACCESS to integrate data and selects ActiveX Data Objects as database link to save and manage the results easily. The paper also develops a new fore-treatment module-KCAD system to realize the application of visualization in scientific calculation in bridge CAD.Based on the theories of intensity and stress checking computations in P.C( prestressed concrete) bridge, this paper explores intensity and stress checking computations module by taking account of the element information, the result of structure internal force and the prestressed information. At the end, it takes some examples to check the reliability of the calculation theory and the results of program.Bridge spatial finite element analysis is so complicated that it usually takes too much time. As a result, associative method is used to simplify the calculation of bridge structure. The paper uses the theory of transverse distribution to develop a new module named KDCM to analyze bridge transverse distribution. The KDCM system can deal with deformed beam bridge such as big boundary beam bridge, variable cross-section continuous bridge, skew and curved bridge and so on. It also can take account of the infection caused by using rubber plinth on support point and the special condition that transverse connection blends the rigid and the hinge in main beam.
