| The Automobile is used as important vehicle seeping througheach field of the society living. With the continuously increasingquantity, a serious problem is also coming, that is the pollution of theenvironment. As the source of exhaust gas, emission level of theengine is paid more and more attention by international community.The diesel engine has been the main power of automobileindustry with its good dynamic, economic performance and reliability.However with the quick increasing quantity of diesel engine, big noise,high particle (PM) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) exhausts of the dieselengine are also bringing the enormous pressure to environmentalprotection. For environmental protection and saving energy sources,international community has successively been establishing andputting more and more strict diesel engine emission standard intopractice.The principle purpose of this paper is to study GB 17691-2005standard and some new techniques which heavy-duty diesel engineadopts to meet GB 17691-2005(China â…¢). It supports design basis todevelop CA6DL1-32E3 for FAW, and then evaluations the validationtest results with GB 17691-2005(China â…¢).Firstly, , this paper studies the trend and test method of dieselengine exhaust standard internal and oversea and contracts thedifference between GB17691-2005 and Europe standards. It analysesGB17691-2005 standard, including its necessary and status ofinterrelated standard's establishment. The scope and the test method -13 working situations test in GB 17691-2001 and test cycle in GB17691-2005 -were also introduced.Secondly, it studies some new technologies that heavy-duty dieselengine adopts to meet GB 17691-2005(China â…¢) Standard. Thesenew technologies, such as 4-valve,turbo-charger,inter-cooled, VGT,EGR, electric control high-pressure fuel injection system andafter-treatment etc, make engine achieve low fuel consumption andlow emission. According to GB 17691-2005,it need not apply all thetechnologies as above in an engine together. But, it is necessary thatapply 4-valve,turbo-charger, inter-cooled, electric control high-pressure fuel injection system. Matching other technologies, enginewill meet China â…£ and China â…¤ Emission level.Finally, this paper introduces the technologies adopted inCA6DL1-32E3 meeting GB 17691-2005 ,focus on the matchingprocess of DENSO CR system, and then introduces validation testresult-including test methods, test conditions and test equipmentsetc-and analyses test results by test curve and data.Experiment has proofed that the CA6DL1-32E3 diesel enginematch the GB 17691-2005 standard request completely, and also theChina â…¢ standard too. The development work is very successful.This paper investigates a method for a new diesel enginedevelopment. That is, through the study of standard request, to findout a method to meet these requests and measures, and apply thismethod into product research and development work, finally use thestandard to verify the development work. This paper can give thesame kind product R&D work a constructive function. |
