Study On Choice Of Passenger Transport Mode Between Satelate Town And Central City

With the national economy prospering and the urbanization process accelerating, China's urban areas gradually is expanding, urban economy is growing, and the urban population is increasing. For changing the model of development that have one nuclear and many forms step by step, Many central cities put forward the new development model of more core and a number of vice-development centers, so that the formation of "bigalopolis" is coming forth in our country, which consisting of a central city and a number of satellite towns. Because a batch of new "satellite towns" are emerging around many big cities, the choice of transportation patterns between satellite towns and central city is constructing, that could not only meet the traffic demand between satellite towns and central city, but also strengthen external radiation of central city and promote the exertion of satellite towns roundly, which is related to continuable development between satellite towns and central citiy.Combined qualitative and quantitative methods, this paper uses the means of AHP and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, studies the transportation patterns between satellite towns and central city and constructs the selection models of transportation between satellite towns and central city. Through these researches, it could provide a theoretical basis and reference for the choice of transportation patterns.Main elements are as follows:1. In view of the satellite towns concept and functions, this paper summarized and classified satellite towns from multi-angle;2. Analysed the composing and influencing factors of passenger transport stream between satellite towns and central city, thus determined calculations and formula of early peak demand from satellite towns to central city;3. On the base of analysing economic and technical characteristics of several representative large transportation patterns by means of AHP and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, established the selection models of transportation patterns between satellite towns and central city by principle of "systematic, comprehensive,objective, maneuverable";4. Used the solutions to apply Chengdu Urban Agglomerations, then compared and analysed the results. On the basic of the realities, put some advice to choice of passenger traffic modes between satelate towns and central city.
