The concrete pump is construction equipment that transports the concrete by virtue of press through the piping and it can continuously transport the concrete horizontally and vertically. It can realize the pump transport and concrete agitation continuously by corresponding with concrete produce and pump construction, and using the concrete agitation truck to transport the concrete. Deeply studying concrete pump has important significance for accelerating quickly development of concrete pump in our country.Based on knowledge of virtual prototyping technology, by analyzing distributing valve of S type and mixing equipment the main works of this paper are as follows: Applying MFC and API function of Visual C++ 6.0 have studied S type distributing valve and designed a visual interface program based on simple document;The 3-D solid model of S type distributing Valve and concrete pump is built and virtual assembly is complete using the software of Unigraphics NX by the technique of character modeling and parameterized, then the virtual prototyping (VP) of the mechanism is made by using the Scenario for Motion of UG, kinematics and dynamic analysis are conducted on the mixing equipment. Utilize the Scenario for Motion of UG to carry out the system motion simulation and animation to check the movement situation of components of the system and inference between mixing blade and container. Then by means of the visual vivacious MPEG movie, lay out product's function, and exchange idea of design.The paper have systematically studied the application of virtual prototyping technology on concrete pump distributing valve of S type and mixing equipment, andhave the important guidance significance to their design and manufacture. Moreover, the idea and means that concrete pump distributing valve of S type and mixing equipment is modeled, simulated, analyzed and made the virtual prototyping, have academic manufacture and practicality value to research and develop new machine system.
