Abstract/Summary:
With the implement of the develop-the-west strategy in China and the structural readjustment of the electric power, the exploitation of hydropower resources is being speeded up. More and more dams are being built, especially high arch dams. The optimization design for high arch dam shape is a key technology which will affect the dam safety and the cost of high arch dam. This article systemically summarizes the current high arch dam designing processes and methods in China and a decision-making system of optimization design for high arch dam shape is researched emphatically. It provides a powerful tool for the scientific decision-making for high arch dam shape. The chief research and work are as follows:1. Sum up the development and the actualities of the optimization design for high arch dam, and introduce a basic solution which is based on the summary to the decision-making for optimization design for high arch dam shape. The designing plan takes the host-slave structure as its program framework and the system can be expanded expediently.2. Parallel condition is studied. By means of the LAN, build a small cluster based on MPI in Windows operating system.The system uses the simulated annealing algorithm and the polygon algorithm in parallel condition to optimization design for arch dam.3. Build the geometric model of arch dam according to the parameterization. Carry the visualization design of decision-making system out by using the visualization program VB.NET. The system offer planar display, three-dimensional display and animated cartoon of the shape of arch dam by means of VB connecting with CAD and CAD connecting with 3D MAX. With the display of the characteristic parameters of high arch dam, the system can offer all-around information on high arch dam.4. Optimization design is going on by taking Xiluodu arch dam as an example, and the comparatively ideal shape is obtained.Based on it, a basic solution to multi-objective optimization is put forward.
