| Power-system simulation software package plays very important roles in thelayout, dispatch, stability, and reliability of power system. It has been a powerfultool in power-system research, calculation and operation. Usually these are severalkinds of data files of mainly power-system simulation software in a dispatchingcenter. Therefore, it is necessary to share the data of all kinds of software. Thispaper studies the main functions and the system power-flow of an analyzingsoftware package named Eurostag developed by the EDF and TRACTEBEL ofBelgium. Then compare with BPA in model, structure and a data-conversionprogram of BPA-Eurostag is developed integrated with the data of North ChinaNetwork in 2005. The program is proved to be effective by applying in the standardIEEE39 nodes system and the North China Network connected with Northeast ChinaNetwork 3009 nodes system in 2005.
