This paper detailedly introduces the boiler furnace's numerical simulation softwareFlorean and the mathematical models which are used to describe the flow,combustion andsome other phenomena in the furnace. Different numerical methods are also compared in thispaper, so the best method is adopted. These numerical methods include: domain discretization,finite volume, difference equation and so on. From the pre-process, solver and post-processoraspects this paper detailedly introduces the main thought, general structure of Florean and theway how to run this software to solver the real problem by examples. At last, a tangentiallyfired boiler furnace is analysed by the software Flurean, and the results are acceptable.
