The power supply system reliability, which is an important content of power reliabilitymanagement, represents power supply ability of power system to customers directly. It alsoreflects the contented degree of the national economy and embodies the power supply qualityand management level deeply.The main function of the electric network of DAGANG oil field is providing the high qualitypower continuously towards the oil-field customers, which is very important in oil-fieldproduction. In the meantime the request to power supply is higher and higher.This paper analyzes the reliability of actual state of electric network, and studies the net structureoptimization to improve the ability of handling faults and shorten the breakdown time, which canimprove the power supply reliability. The adequacy and security of power system is alsopresented.We propose a reliability calculation model, which is based on analytics. After computing thefaulted-power flow, we calculate the node electric voltage and the line capacity to choose thereasonable load reduction method, so as to form reliability index. On this foundation, this paperanalyzes the power flow, reliability and sensibility of the present network and the programmingnetwork, and then bring up the improvement measure considering the weakness of northernnetwork structure.We discuss the structure optimization of power grid and developmental direction by analyzing afew optimal programs, and ascertain the funds that is needed to improve the power gridreliability and the results. At last we put forward to the suggestions for carrying out by stages.
