Because the fossil energy is missing gradually serious and enhancing with environmental protection consciousness continuously, the wind energy is exhaustless and clear, so world wind power is developing fleetly in recent years . Our country has been engaged in the technique of the large size wind turbine generating system since the 80's, several hundred sets of machines imported from Europe, America etc. The technology of home manufacture is making progress, but the home-product being run a period of time exposed some problem, the reliability of the gearboxes is lower than import product, main parts of the gearbox were shut down after running not enough three years , all because of the gears, shafts, bearings are failure . The trouble causes a big loss with the manufactory and the wind farms, this kind of problem is also existing in the import products. Analyzing its reason not outside below several kinds: 1, The service condition of the local and abroad is different. 2, The level of using and maintaining is worse.3, The level of the raw material , manufacturing and assembling tech are worse. 4, All above .So the import and to turn(survey and map) with the ex- period national product the gearbox is not suitable for the our country state of the nation.This text briefly introduced the characteristics of the wind energyand analyzed the present situation and development trend of the tech for current wind turbine generator sets, comparing the common o different characteristics between the abroad and home-product, and to the failure gearbox proceeding detailed analysis and calcualation, tallying up some same reason, for example one problem is the gearbox lubricated badly , and another is the effects of overloading and impacting on the gearbox in the process of the wind turbine sets brake running urgently, analyzed the effect of reliability and life on manufacturing process of gear , and according to the actual circumstance of the factory, designed the material and the main craft process of the gear; On the other hand aim at the key problem of the gearbox construction improved the design, completed the drawings of the scheme.This text thinks at certainly service conditions, the relations between the life of the gear and material process are closely, the national product changed the properties of material and the quality of the process, so the design and calculation of the gear is necessary to modified different from the national standard or the import product, it is according to the main factors that actual manufacturing level as the accuracy and residual stress of the gear, and the pureness of the materials, these factors affected the fatigue strength of the gear.The research methods of this text is failure analysis and application of similarity theory in hydrodynamic drive system , in past years our group has accumulated a lot of dates about gear failure and mechanical properties of material .according to similarity principle in size , process and service conditions application statistical theory interpreted the fatigue strength of gear in certain conditions.The textual meaning consists in our country contain abundant wind energy resources, the gearboxes for wind turbine generator system have a good market in future, so it is the realistic cryingneed to increasesthe dependable the product made in china.
