With rapid development of wind turbine industry, the function of more stability and high efficiency are required in wind turbine generator system. In order to decrease gearbox failures caused by vibration and increase reliability of wind turbine generator system, which needs to research an effective way to reduce gearbox failure. The thesis based on dynamic gear-rotor system theory, for the purpose of changing natural frequency of gear-rotor system, takes wind turbine generator system as practical example, to simulate gear-rotor system dynamic vibration process under coupling and non-coupling condition together with calculate each step mode value by finite element method The thesis researches system natural frequency variation by changing system parts geometry parameter and proposes an effective way to change system natural frequency avoiding resonance, besides, checks the method feasibility by two parallel axes gear-rotor system of wind turbine generator system in the last part of this thesis.
