The slab,which constitute the structure ,has found a wide application in the port and channel engineering in China. It still remains a urgent a problem how to get a satisfactory answer to the slab-soil mass interaction on the basis of the reliable theory and numerical method.This paper analyzes in detail to the spatial finite element model on the slab-soil interaction. At present, the anlysis is confined to set up the 2-D model,which can not reflect the the behavior of the slab-soil interaction properly.in this paper ,the spatial finite element will adopt to study the soil-slab interaction.The stiff matrix of 3D-interface element of zero thickness with nodes is derived with a special regard to the six freedom of slab element and three freedom of soil element.meanwhile,in demand to the node number ,the stiff matrix of slab is also developed.i also modify the 3D nonlinear finit elemet prodecure to solve the nonlinear finit element problem which consider the interface of the slab and the soil.A new program is put forward to calculate and analyze the interaction of the concrete slab and soil.with the numerical simulation of the YanShan caisson bulkhead ,the result got from the paper will provide reference value for the pratical engineering.
