The model for simulation of the combined cycle plant fuelled by natural gaswas developed using the ASPEN PLUS software, and a systematic simulationmethod for combined cycle was developed. The results generated by this modelwere found to be in good agreement with the design values, so the simulationmethod is reasonable. Then the combined cycle with the same gas turbine systemfuelled by coke oven gas was simulated by this method, and steam parameters ofdifferent steam cycle modes were optimized by thermodynamic method, pursuingthe target function of the maximization of combined cycle efficiency;based on foreoptimized results, using the thermoeconomic method of matrix pattern, the mode ofsteam system and the pinch point temperature difference under the optimal modewere optimized, pursuing the target function of the minimization of generating cost,and thereby the optimal mode of combined cycle fuelled coke oven gas wasobtained.
