| With the requirement of increasing environment protection and urgency of emission control regulations, low emission for engine is very important besides high power and good economy. A lot of research work focuses on cleaning fuel to decrease emission. NG has many characteristics, such as good combustion, low emission, rich storage and convenience to use in the city for motor. Nowadays, alternative fuel engine is modified from diesel or gasoline engine .It is infrequency to illuminate the change of piston temperature distribution between CNG engine and traditional fuel engine. This paper research temperature distribution of the piston for CNG engine combined with measurement and calculation method. Two connect rod dimension of joint device suitable for temperature measurement were calculation method by ADANS software according to three-dimensional Pro/E model of engine. Con-rods of joint device and adapters for thermocouple were designed. We set several measurement points on the surface of piston and got calibration curve for the thermal plugs and got the temperature of piston by engine trial. Temperature fields were calculated with ANSYS finite element software, the calculation data has a good similarity with test data. Thermal loading were analyzed according to 3-D temperature field. This paper shows that the precision of the calculation can meet the requirement of research work. |
