Form Study Of Tibetan Dwellings In The Southeast Of Ganzi

The Tibetan architectural art of China, in the long historical evolutionary course from its germination and formation through the process of absorption and integration with external architectural styles to the formation of its own styles, has full reflected the wisdom and creativity of the Tibetan people. Their unique architectural artistic style not only will shine its glory through ages in the history of the Chinese architecture but also in the architectural history of the world. The architectural patterns of the Tibetan dwellings are varied due to different living environment, climates, local materials and modes of production. The Tibetan people in the farming areas often adopt fixed dwelling made of wood, stone, earth etc. these dwellings are characterized by standing or shrinking walls and flat roofs. In the areas rich in wood materials, people build their houses in the form of banisters or well-form style walls and those in rainy areas often have the dwellings with sloping roofs covered with thin stone plates. Now the Tibetan are paying more attention to integration of their practicability and aesthetic value. Because most of the Tibetan in Sichuan live in Aba and Ganzi, this paper will introduce the structure characters of Tibetan dwellings in Ganzi. Certainly,it is necessary to introduce some technological problems.This paper studies the morphology of the Tibetan dwellings in the southeast of Ganzi. First, this paper introduces the aim of the study and the recent research in domestic and overseas; Second, explains natural environment and the history & humanities environment in the southeast of Ganzi, and briefly looked back the history process of the development of the traditional Tibetan dwellings, establish model to explain function mechanism of various influence factors in develop process of Tibetan dwellings. And then, makes use of this model to analysis the formation of the Tibetan dwellings morphology.Last, based on the organization-self theory, combine to the present condition of the development of Tibetan dwellings, putting forward some concrete measures to settle development problem of Tibetan dwellings.
