Construction controlling is an essential part of construction technology, furthermore, it is very difficulty to put into effect. This thesis studies several problems in the construction controlling of reinforced concrete arch bridge with precast segmental cantilever, such as forward-calculation, recognizing errors of design parameters, construction monitoring and determining of cable tensing forces etc. The main study works are as follows: 1) Because the process of long-span bridge construction is phased and some loads (such as deadweight , construction loads) are applied step-by-step, so creeping, boundary condition changing and system transferring may be occur. In order to determining the finished bridge state, we need to build model of construction controlling and calculate with forward-calculation. 2) The errors of design parameters is one important factor, which can cause error occurs in the process of construction. In this thesis, errors of design parameters are recognized by basing on the controlling variables(cable tensile forces and the form setting levels) of the reasonable construction state. 3) Construction controlling of long-span bridge is based on the construction monitoring. Whether the monitoring data is accurate or not will effect construction controlling quality. The author lists several methods which are effective and available for long-span bridge through studying the monitoring of Liuguihe bridge. 4) A forward-iteration method for determining the cable tensing forces is introduced, which is based on the controlling state of max cantilever. The method is described as the following. A max cantilever state is gotten with the forward-calculation presuming the controlling cable tensing forces. We can modify the controlling cable tensing forces to minimize the difference values between the result and the predetermined value of the reasonable max cantilever state by the lease square methods. Iterate the aforesaid procedure until the value is constringed.
