The contents included in this thesis is divided into four chapters, are restricted within nonlinear bending and buckling at elastic range. In chapter one author reviews the major work that the domestic and the foreign scholars have done in the fields of space reticulated structures, analyses and compares the characteristics of variable theories and methods. In chapter two the basic assumption which come from engineering reality according to structural forms and loading characteristics of the double-deck reticulated shallow shell structures are introduced, equate the structures with the sandwich shell , then established the constitutive relations of the shallow sandwich shell based on the energy equivalence. Finally the basic equations of nonlinear bending of the double-deck reticulated shallow shell structures by means of potential principle is deduced. Besides, he also established the nonlinear bending equations considering the influence of initial geometric defects in the double-deck reticulated shallow shell structures. In chapter three considering the usual forms of the double-deck reticulated shallow shell adopted in actual practice ,author analyses the nonlinear bucking problems under transverse distributed or shearing strength or axial stress. In chapter four he export nonlinear vibration problem of the double-deck reticulated shallow shell structures.
