Technology Of Automatic Steam Boiler Water Treatment

In this article,Technology of automatic steam boiler water treatment was introduced .It includes outer treatment method and inner treatment method. The water hardness indicator have been studied . The experimental results reveal that it is very easy and quickly to determinate hardness of water sample with the water hardness indicator and colourimetric card .The hardness range is 0-0.05mmol/l. In order to distinguish softener's running situation of softening water, the indicator has been used at steam boiler's water supply .Good results have been achieved .Dosage is controlled by automatic pump. Steam boiler water treatment agent has some functions including scale inhibition,scale removal,corrosion inhibition ,dissolved oxygen control ,PH value maintenance and slime dispersion.This technology is utilized by about 600 boiler users.After a long period,it has improved that the water treatment technology and the multifunction agent(EQ3F)are benefit for steam boiler. The scale cleaning agent EQ-1 is made by EBARA Qingdao Co., Ltd. Corrosion rate of EQ-1 was tested. Meachanical properties of corrosion coupon passed tension test. The rate of scale removed by EQ-1 is up to the requirments of the chemical cleaning rules for steam boiler. In a word, for steam boiler , outer treatment method and inner treatment method can lengthen steam boiler's life ,raise its security and reduce running cost.
