The Research Of Radar Image Capture Compression Technology Based On DSP And VxWorks

Voyage Data Recorder is an intelligent equipment which is used to record and conserve the important information and parameter of vessel during its voyaging.In all recorded data, radar image data is very important. It can replay the whole environment around the vessel. Radar image capture and compression system can record the realtime radar image data during voyaging and supply the first real data of the accident.This research subject is radar image capture compression recording system of Voyage Data Recorder. The research task is design and realization of radar image capture compression PCI card.This thesis introduces some kinds of video signal and video format. Then gives the design of the radar image capture compression card in point of hardware, including the hardware interface logic design. And gives ways of the software design of DSP. Emphasis is placed on the realtime micro kernel with DSP and the applying of JPEG2000 compression algorithms. And then introduce the driver program of the radar image capture compression PCI card under VxWorks.
