| Chassis dynamometer is an important equipment of examining automobile driving performance. This article devised a testing and controlling system with a prime and subordinate system frame, which is formed of SOU and a personal computer, by using an early-imported chassis-dynamometer, which is equipped with a simple computer control, but has been discarded as useless. This chassis-dynamometer has been repaired well and formed into a simulation system on road testing. This design can exert all their advantages of SCM, which offers many interfaces and can be controlled easily, and computer, which has a strong performance in calculating and storing, as well a wonderful interface. This article introduces the composition of automobile driving resistance, and the working principle of electro-eddy chassis dynamometer, and analyzes the necessity of simulating the automobile driving resistance in testing automobile performance with a chassis dynamometer. At the same time, it expounds the automobile chassis dynamometer system of testing and controlling aided with a computer. This system can offer an automatic way to collect, process, monitor and control the tested data sheet. It makes a detailed introduction on the hardware, software, controlling modes of this system, as well the method which simulates the automobile driving resistance by loading the dynamometer. |
