This thesis primarily introduced software about cylinder pressure and crank angle acquisition and data analysis module. It is designed by using a general data acquisition board, which is based on Virtual Instrument LabVIEW offered by NI and laboratory engine. The data acquisition module is to design a driver to make LabVIEW communicate with the acquisition board. Then cylinder pressure and crank angle acquisition are realized. The data analysis module consists of three parts: combustion performance analysis module, synthetical data analysis module, and combustion process analysis module and exhaust analysis module. The combustion performance analysis module is about combustion analysis based on a set of cylinder pressure and crank angle. It applies Motoring Test Method to determine TDC(Top Dead Center) and realizes the P-Φdiagram, P-V diagram,V-Φdiagram and dP/dΦdiagram. According to the motoring cylinder pressure, the combustion pressure, the cylinder volume, the increase rates of pressure and the basic parameters of engine, this system realizes the calculation of temperature and heat release rates. The synthetical data analysis module is based on a set of motoring cylinder pressures and several sets of combustion pressure. Blasting point at high load and firing point at low load can be found according to P-φdiagram. dP/dφdiagram, temperature curves and heat release rates diagram reflect the change of increase rates of pressure, temperature and heat release rates. The combustion process analysis module is to draw the diagram of Pmax, max dP/dφ,the position of the Pmax, IMEP(Indicated Mean Effective Pressure) and cyclic variation coefficient which change with the trend of equivalence ratio φ, which is based on a set of motoring cylinder pressures and several sets of combustion pressure. The exhaust analysis module is to draw the diagram of CO2, CO, O2, HC, and NOX which change with φ, then we can estimate the effect of the fuel..
