With the decreasing of oil resource and the increasing of people's consciousness of environment protection, the development of EV has been regarded more and more important by people and was classed into the important items by our country. The deficiency of the endurance mileage has become the main obstacle which restricts the development of EV because the battery technology has not get rudimentary breakthrough. Now, hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) has become the mainstream of EV trade's development. Driving control sysem of EV is one of three key technology of EV, and it is important to solve the key technology. At first,this paper researches and designs the hardware circuit of driving control system based on single-chip according to the special needs and provides the solution..In order to realize the fleetness and high real-time performance required by driving system of EV,16 byte-singlechip 80C196KC is selected as the key chip.On the base of consideration of electromagnetic interfere,digital filter and photoelectric isolation is adopted. Secondly,on the base of analyse to original high voltage circuit,the new high voltage circuit is designed and IGBT is regarded as the main compponen..,The new alterative usage is advanced on the base of relative literature because of the deficiency of IGBT'traditional driving circuit. The performance of IGBT becomes more reliable after using the new method. Finally, according to the running state of motor and control input, The software of system is designed. The drive motor has been controlled safely and reliably after the PID control algorithm was adopted. After the design completed, The simulation test in startup, changing shelves,.speedup of EV are carried out and the experimental results are analyzed and summarized.
