As the exploitation of underground space and the high-rise construction in a city, a large number of deep foundation excavations have appeared lately. Its scale and depth increase constantly. Urban deep foundation excavations are generally surrounded with dense buildings, therefore, building site is very narrow. Applying the traditional design theory (deformation control design) and routine construction technology, it is very difficult to prevent surrounding buildings or structures from destabilization. Although many scholars, engineers and technicians have been researching into the deformation control design of deep foundation excavations for recent years, it's not to be solved to problems of retaining structures-soil interaction and adjacent structures-soils interaction. In this paper, deep foundation excavations, bracing structures and adjacent structures are studied as an integrated system. On the basis of interaction theory and FEM theory, a 2-D elastic-plastic program has been developed and simulated a typical actual engineering. The program has analyzed some deformation effect on retaining wall and adjacent pile in different complexion-soil unit weight, soil elastic modulus, soil Poisson's ratio and so on, for example. At last, some valuable conclusions benefit from design and construction. Now the research on adjacent piles is lacking, therefore, the results can be used as reference for the relevant numerical simulation and other research.
