| As a convenient facility for ventilation in driving, skylight has become standard configuration of many kinds of cars made by every auto plant. Aiming at economical car, manual outward-raised skylight has strong advantages, such as simple structure, convenient using and high reliability etc. Accordingly designing and developing manual outward-raised skylight has good market foreground, which is helpful to share more market in drastic competition nowadays.The skylight's structure is analyzed by use of UG. Firstly reverse designing is implemented not only to collect and process data of space glass surface of skylight but also to generate solid. Secondly making the glass solid as the reference part, the other large covering parts are designed and their 2-D drawings are acquired. The design way from 2-D to 3-D is implemented to finish design of handle-group parts and locating-group parts and the assembly of skylight is completed using assembly function of UG. Finally, parts design, sub-assembly and whole design are implemented using of parametric design which mainly use sketch, expression and child-assembly. Moreover, the standard parts are organized into standard library by use of spreadsheet.As the new ways, reverse design and parametric design are implemented into the design of car's skylight, these can result in not only completing the whole design of skylight's parts but also reducing the design period and improving the production quality. By this way the series and standardization of skylight's design are accomplished, which can be used for reference to design and develop of auto's parts. |
