Diesel engine inlet parameter determines the intake air into the engine combustion chamber size and swirl intake airflow.Affected the degree of mixing of oil and gas of the engine combustion chamber for burning the adequacy of the relationship between the intake air inlet combustion air intake performance,swirl intensity affects the formation of oil and gas mixture,so the engine inlet parameters directly affects the performance of diesel engine combustion,emissions,and overall performance.With traditional development experience airway with plaster and other materials to make the airway like columns,and then make manual airway core box,through the airway steady flow test rig to get rougher inlet data,so it is difficult to the engine and cylinder head inlet developed a reasonable match,but is going to match the corresponding cylinder head inlet hand,which directly affect the engine performance of the whole.With the reverse technology,based on reverse technology,CFD numerical simulation and CAM CNC machining inlet development process gradually evolved into the development and optimization of existing inlet main method.Reverse technology combined inlet for parametric design,is the best solution for an effective way inlet.During this four-valve diesel engine inlet Yuchai research and design process,achieved the following results:1.the use of AVL FIRE software and YCA10 two engine Yuchai YCJ6000 spiral airway airway airway and tangential with different valve lift CFD numerical simulation,get the best flow coefficient is 0.39,and the swirl ratio of 1.6 comparison chart.2.the use of R&D platform TC system integrated 3D design software to complete the three-dimensional inlet core box production and get the best kind of inlet core box.3.the inlet core box to get the kind of airway steady flow test rig to do the test,get the inlet of the maximum tolerance parameter is 0.75.4.Ricardo and FEV two kinds of evaluation methods airway airway parameters were analyzed,CFD results demonstrated airway core box inflatable test results.
