Study On Collection Information And Compilation Of Construction Cost Index

Construction cost index can be widely applied to every stages of construction cost management and has considerable practical value in respect of implementation and use of BOQ. This paper is mainly concerned with the research and discussion about the calculation formula for construction cost index and some relevant problems. It has introduced the domestic and international current research situations and achievements in relevant fields. It gives some information collected for making material of construction cost index as well as puts forward the demand in the process of compilation in our country by way of contrast, analysis and comparison; proposes the range of compilation concerning construction cost index and the calculation formula for every individual cost index, composite index and average index in our country; analyses the latest research results about the prediction of construction cost index; uses the Grey Theory to predict and apply construction cost index practically. This paper is based on the guide of "To Unify The Calculation Formula For Construction Cost Index And To Gradually Establish Nationwide Reporting System Of The Calculation Of Construction Cost Index", which is released by the Ministry of Construction, Standard Quota Department. It analyses and researches the problems which need to be solved in the calculation work of construction cost index, revolving around establishment of the calculation formula for construction cost index, the main contents are as follows: 1) It has analyzed and studied the unified information collected for working out materials about construction cost index in our country; 2) It has proposed compilation range concerning construction cost index in our country, including every individual cost index, composite index; 3) It has analyzed and studied the unified calculation formula for construction cost index in our country and has conducted practical compilation of L&M price index; 4) It has carried out the forecast for the established construction cost index, and has carried out the practical application via using the established construction cost index and it's forecast value in this paper; 5) It has conducted preliminary research with regard to setting up some websites about the information of construction cost index in this paper.
