| This article aim for serious slagging problem on 480t/h boiler in Donghai power station of Nanshan Co.,Long kou. The main reason of slagging in boiler had been found through theoretical analysis. Solution had also been obtained after actual boiler test, and regeneration has caused ideal result.At present, the slagging problem of most boilers is caused by combustion of non-design coal. It also to say adaptation between boiler style and coal is the main reason. So this article expounds the coupling question between boiler style and practical coal , and the central research is slagging characteristics on boiler and coal at uncoupling condition. Research means and judgment basis on coal and ash slagging in or out of china are discussed, and coupling relation between boiler characteristical parameters such as furnace volume heat release rate, furnace plan heat release rate, burner zone wall heat release rate, furnace burn-out volume height, burner zone height and furnace burn-out zone heat release rate etc and practical coal are researched. To guide boiler design and operation, means to avoid slagging in boiler design and firing high slagging coal are discussed.Incorporated with the 480t/h boiler in Donghai power station, the central means for operating boiler to be avoided from slagging in this article should be ameliorating boiler aerodynamic condition. This should try all means to decrease temperature level in burner zone, avoid attaching or rush in boiler wall because of the declining of PA air result in, and decrease or transform the laying ways of ignition belt.Incorporated with the analysis of boiler style and actual combustion coal of the 480t/h boiler in Donghai power station, modified means are provided and applied. Unit must to be shut down because of cleaning slag is avoided, combustion condition is ameliorated, flue gas temperature is decreased and the boiler efficiency is improved, the power station acquires vast economic utility.
