Multidisciplinary design optimization is a new technology which comes from aerospace in the last twenty years. It puts its main emphases on the optimization of complicated products design that relate to many subjects. It develops at very high speed. All of the world work hard on it.This dissertation takes the electronic truckscale as an example to do the research work on the multidisciplinary design optimization based on the research of its technology system and application method. It takes the multidisciplinary design optimization involved in the products design of non-aerospace.Firstly : Do research work on multidisciplinary design optimization technology by the number. This dissertation generalize the multidisciplinary design optimization into nine key elements: approximately modeling, mathematic modeling, analysis faced design, system decomposition, system sensitivity analysis, optimization algorithm, design of experiment, interface of man and computer, multidisciplinary design optimization method. Do some research work on each of the elements and establish the relation map of them .This kind of generalization establishes a general multidisciplinary design optimization system structure and expatiates on the research contents clearly.Secondly: This dissertation puts emphases on the research of a kind of simple coupled system's multidisciplinary design optimization method and gives a process of how to set up the method.Thirdly: This dissertation establishes a new multidisciplinary method which combines standard and collaborative optimization methods to optimize the electronic truckscale by using the process that has been given. This method makes full use of the sequential information flow and at the same time takes the coupled relation of truckscale platform' s structure and stability involved.Fourthly: The whole framework of electronic truckscale multidisciplinary design optimization is realized in iSIGHT.
