At present, as one of the six major development industries of our country, road construction industry is becoming a rising industry with a striking development speed and vigor. And the large economic and social benefits resulted from it is increasingly coming out.Road construction itself is a product realization process with high input, long period, many links and involving aspects, strict programming. With limited man power, material resources and construction capital input, how to reasonably get the road construction budget under control and ensure the project progress and quality, has become a problem concerned by all the road construction parts. As one among those taking part in the road construction, supervision unit is exerting such important functions as supervision, control, guidance and evaluation during the construction process, and these are becoming more and more necessary and pivot. Therefore, this text uses how to execute more effective road project supervision as the thesis, surrounding the choosing and execution of the supervision method, the discussion is outspreaded as the following major contents:1. The project quality supervision. This article discussed the establishment of project quality system, the methods of project quality supervision, quality defects and the disposition of quality accidents.2. The project schedule supervision. This article studied the basic methods—Horizontal Graph Method and S-Curve Method, and explained the schedule retard process concretely by using real cases.
