Belt Conveyor is continual motion machine of sideless conveying articles, using rubber belt to be conveyer belt is called rubber belt conveyor, brief name is sealing-tape machine. Belt Conveyor is an important component part of lifting and transport machinery, it is same as crane to be used to handle and transport cargo. It's structure is very simple, and has low cost ,long distance transport and very high productivity. It is mainly used in metallurgy,mining,coal,power plant,port and industrial enterprises. With the continual development of modern industry science and technology, the import belt conveyor is become more important in industrial production, is important content of industrially mechanized mechanize. Therefore, it is very important for belt conveyor to do computer-aided design. The development of belt conveyor is very quick, to improve productivity of belt conveyor ;to add stand-alone length and delivery distance; to improve climbing ability of it; enlarge range of use of belt conveyor, such as developing heat resisting and cool resisting transport belt; Using special bracket and supporting roller to transport over 500 kg cargo; Improving automaticity of conveyor operation and manage. In this paper, on the one hand, using advanced design method to carry though whole design and trade-off analysis; on the other hand ,because using computer-aided design technique, that accelerate develop speed, reduce design cost, consequently improve competitive ability of this kind of cargo, and accelerate belt conveyor's widely spread and use. Firstly, we carry through analysis for belt conveyor under different operating conditions, and selecting and computing for different layout form, that made us get design and computing process of whole belt conveyor. During design calculation, based on user needs, it can import and select initial parameter and belt conveyor. Using computer to complete a great deal of important and multifarious computing,check…etc, such as conveyer belt's width,least tension,all kinds of resistance,point-by-point computation for tension,motor power computing and prove for conveyer belt. It can consumedly reduce design time. Using this program can make designer be divorced from design data,design handbook, on computer, to complete whole work of general belt conveyor. Secondly, from handbooks, we collect all kinds of parameters and data used on conveyor computing. The data on conveyor designing and computing is large and complicated; the accuracy of conveyor designing and computing is depended on the reliability of the database. The integrity and accuracy of the data in the database is related directly that if the whole system can get success. So, we should input the detailed and latest data into the system as possible as we can. Then based on above computing results, using program,visiting database and dialog box ,we can complete data getting work, it makes data getting simple and true. It synthetically uses picture segment and program parameter to plot, and complete parameterization plot of general plan. Further improve traditionally taking time and arduous design computing method, exploit a suit of applied computer-aided design system of belt conveyor. At last, we compare and do balance analysis on the related parameters computed, and then optimize selection, and reflect if the parameters...
