There is marine territory of more than 3 million sq. km. in our country, which is the main way of solving the resource deficient of our country. So, our country will regard the developing ocean as the key item in the 21st century, and will regard the developing ocean as the composition project of national "863"Program in the ocean.The characteristic of the tidal-flat is that the silt is deep ,soft and glue. There is not a hard ground floor. Under such special situation, if adopting routine car-mounted the static penetration apparatus. Because of its earth pressure is not equal, which will lead to the vehicle to subside in mud. At the same time, the tidal-flat area is in the intertidal zone, which requires static sounding be high-efficient and fast.,which decides routine methods can not finish this job. So we need to develop a set of rock and soil testing equipment working on the tidal-flat. This technology is a blank in our country at present. This text aims at the actual conditions of this area and designs a set of walking mechanisms working on the tidal-flat and establish the foundation for realizing static sounding on the tidal-flat. It requires superior walking organizations that realizing static sounding on tidal-flat. At first this text have compared various kinds of walking organizations and concludes that rubber belt track have the characteristic of little pressure, turn round flexibly. These characteristics can effectively avoid walking organization to subside in the mud. So we choose rubber belt track as walking organization of static sounding on the tidal-flat and put forward thing of designing of flexibility pole. Because of the use of flexibility pole, main body become simple, which accelerated the speed of static sounding work and saved time. Then the text put forwards the thing of designing of the static penetration apparatus working on the tidal-flat. Finally the text discusses the machinery designing course of rubber belt tracking walking organizations. The full text is divided into six parts.
